day out

it has a playground for the toddlers and it is a lovely place to go for a stroll or even just for a cuppa of coffee.

Denied by all, yet he locked... More

What a disappointing experience for such a lovely place. This lives up to its potential in most regards but attitude of staff to visitors was markedly rude and "couldn't care less." Was told to wait at reception by a lady busy counting (which wasn't the end of the world) - but she just kept counting for about five minutes while... More

We spent about 3 hours walking around the estate and would have spent longer only we got there late and it was getting dark. Great for exploring for young and old, and the history of the house is wonderful. Lots of quirky things along the way to keep kids happy and the fairy garden really tops it off. Would definitely... The fireworks went on for a good few minutes and were very colourful display and very big and good music to add to the fun . The haunted maze was great the staff all dressed up to make the evening very... More

Visited the Belvedere House & gardens with wife & three young children. Cost was €20 & well worth every penny as we spent 5 hours here & could have been many more. We looked at the map and thought our children would never manage the walking as the grounds cover many acres & several km to walk round. However there... More

We had a lovely walk around the grounds of Belvedere. There's a variety of views and scenery, from woodland to Lake views. The house on the grounds is worth a look. There are lovely follies along the walking route with a nice fairy garden and play areas. Worth a visit if you're in the area. Also a nice cafe on... More

Beautiful grounds, lovely walks- picnic by lakeside is just fabulous- location, location, location!! Idyllic walled garden. Zip line in the trees a wee find! Coffee shop- cakes divine! One recommendation- playground nice but could do with a bit of a revamp. Wonderful family day out all in all.
