Upset I had to pay €8 to have access to the coffee shop. I appreciate there is access to the gardens from there but it was absolutely lashing rain and me and my friends had small babies. I was embarrassed as I’d suggested Belvedere to them (they travelled from Dublin )
€8 entry to a coffee shop. Then buy your coffee. Ridiculous could’ve used discretion here

Unbelievable ! You drive all the way here ( We came from Cavan ) and you aren't allowed to actually have a coffee in their coffee shop without paying an entrance fee of €8.00 EACH. And that's before you buy a single thing in the coffee shop. We explained that we were not interested in the house and the gardens and just wanted coffee and a bite to eat to be told No, we don't cater for casual visitors (???, whatever they are!!) by a very abrupt woman and we had to leave. Why dont they have somebody who can look for entrance tickets from "visitors" beyond the coffee area? That would make sense, as people could then have a coffee and Leave WITHOUT having to pay €8 in. We wont be back here again ever again and advise anybody who might be "Attempting" to just have a coffee and a sticky bun to avoid here and call somewhere else.

Nice walk and dog friendly. Various points of interest to keep the kids motivated too along the way. My family and I spent a couple of hours here when visiting Mullingar and we enjoyed the experience.

Great day out, nice cafe. 3 year old had lots of fun and didn't get board. Plenty of places to feed the baby too. All swings and benches in great order and a great price too

We used to live in Mullingar and take the kids there when they were little. The teen and the 21 year old had a fantastic day wandering around the woods, exploring the house and recreating some old photos :) Such a beautiful special place to visit.

We went to the Easter hunt on good Friday. Many of the characters were every poor. One lady there is a purple dress, by the walled gardens. Looked very grumpy. We just followed people in front, who didn't get a great reception from her. So we didn't bother to ask.
Turns out she was there to show people where to go, we went the wrong way. Missing out on two of the stops. Very disappointing for our daughter. When we realised and went back after all closed.
Next year maybe employ enthusiastic people interested in tge job all day long like bumble bee and angry bird were a pleasure to meet, and made a fuss out of the kids.

Unfortunately I do not know the answer. I do know that they are wheelchair friendly but not sure if they supply them. If you call them, as Cathal says on +353 44 934 9060 I am sure they would advise.
