Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

On first ever visit to Strandhill heard there was a market on so decided to check it out and we really enjoyed it. Excellent layout and lots of outdoor seating. Would recommend.

This is a great people's market, but the highlight is the Joy Kitchen with authentic Indian food which we (all 5) enjoyed.

The market is situated in a hangar at the Sligo airport, parking in the lot across the street is free. Most of the market is made up of crafts but there are some food items; cheese, baked goods, vegetables and fruits, flowers, and a few places to grab a bite to eat. Nice coffee place at the door, and everything is served in recyclable dishes.

Sunday's after breakfast out we love to head up to the market with the kids. It's just the most magical atmosphere (especially at Christmas when Santa visits)
I love that the organisers and stallholders are becoming more eco aware and sustainable, biodegradable packaging, reusable bags, cups and mugs - it's just fabulous!! You can tell they genuinely care as they don't shout it from the rooftops, they just do what's good. Well done guys at strandhill market.
