Description:

The first home of Bill and Hillary Clinton and where they were married is...

The first home of Bill and Hillary Clinton and where they were married is situated in the beautiful Ozark Mountains in Fayetteville, Arkansas. At one bedroom and 1800 square feet, this unassuming house is like many other homes that surround it. However, this home has a special place in local, national, and international history. Bill Clinton took Hillary Rodham's hand in marriage seventeen years before he would be elected President. The home's series of owners also have deep roots in local Arkansas history. The museum houses memorabilia of Clinton's early political career, including his campaigns for US House of Representatives and Arkansas Attorney General. Temporary and timely exhibits cover the history of Secretary Clinton's life in public service and her time in Arkansas. View a faithful replica of Hillary's wedding dress, and follow a timeline to put their Fayetteville years in perspective. Peruse our gift shop, discovering books, mementos, and more for a keepsake of your trip and be just steps away from the University of Arkansas campus where the Clintons taught at the Law School. OPEN: MONDAY-FRIDAY 10-5, SATURDAYS 9-5 ADMISSION: ADULTS $8, SENIORS $7, STUDENTS $5, CHILDREN UNDER 12 $1

My wife and I visited the Clinton House Museum recently on a trip to Arkansas. It's not a very big house (or museum), with only a few rooms to tour. There's a short video, cardboard cutouts of Bill and Hillary to take your picture with, and a variety of mementos and things to read about the Clintons. There was no... More

Not ideal for a busy toddler, but otherwise a fun experience. The garden was really nice, and it was cool to read about the Clinton's being married in the home.

It's a cute home with a neat story. They have a gift shop too. The First Ladies Garden seems to have been added in 2010 and is super cute! They pictures and memorabilia here are worth the visit. It's a beautiful home and so very typical of the Fayetteville homes around campus. The wood floors and original bathroom tile are... More

See the former home of a couple of young hippies. Little did they know what would be happening in 2016. Go visit and talk to the friendly hosts. Put aside your political trauma and pretend it's 1975. Turn on Captain and Tennille or John Denver and have some fun. Beware of the driveway parking situation, small and steep!

Clinton's wedding dress, a few family pictures, a short video about some of their political life... that's about it. The video was somewhat entertaining and educational. Good for a quick 30 minute visit and you're done.

Went to the house of former President Clinton's Birthday. Took fellow co-workers, had lunch and cake. The house is preserved as it was when the Clintons lived there back in the 80s(?).

Only two parking spaces so don't go up the drive if you see two cars already. Very plain. A few pieces of election paraphenalia but not much other than a replica of Hillary's wedding dress. The staff were nice but the hose might be more interesting to see if it were redecorated as the Clintons had it in their time... More

We visited the Clinton House and it was delightful! With all the "McMansions" and huge homes everyone feels they "need" now it is great to look back on this little house and picture where the Clinton's really started out together not to mention the earlier history of the house! The rooms are well laid out, the staff was super helpful,... More

I had no idea this place even existed but I am very glad that I do. It was a very fun visit with my family and was able to educate myself and them on the Clinton's history. Great experience. 10/10 recommend.
