It was under repairs when we visited. The actual fountain was beautiful with over one hundred languages for peace.

We were at the main square in Fayetteville and made the mistake of thinking that this would be easily visible from the car. Wrong. Using the GPS, I literally walked right next to this sphere without finding it, but once you see it you can't...More

This is a great side trip if you are at the square for the Farmers Market or some other event. It takes wonderful pictures. I have photographed several couples in front of it, and it is always a favorite out of the photo shoot!

It is fun to see how many words of peace are recognized. It is a fantastic monument to have on the square.

I got coffee at the local shop and just sat and enjoyed this. It was peaceful around and being a girl by myself I never felt uncomfortable or anything. Great area!! And the peace fountain was just a cool added bonus.

I stumbled upon this Peace globe by accident and was filled with delight! I don't know this artist, but I would say he did not rest upon his laurels, but instead gave this project a full measure of artistic talent and effort!
