absolutely charming. mainly locals, snug, and delightful owners - it always helps when they own the place rather then just renting it - and the craic we had was mighty. Great chat, so friendly, welcoming. They don't do food but they even said we could bring in pizza from a nearby place, although we decided to eat out. A total refreshing look at the very best of natural Rossie charm - which they're famed for - unlike some pretentious parvenus! thanks the hatch, will be back

A gorgeous bar, small but perfectly formed. Busy on a Saturday night but we were welcomed by friendly staff and regulars and were more than happy to chat to us without being intrusive.
If the opportunity should arise, it's definitely worth dropping in.

This is a lovely quaint put which we stumbled upon on our visit to Roscommon. The barman was very welcoming, and he had the rugby on the telly. I know the weather has changed its much colder now, they were not prepared for the cold weather, The pub was freezing which is a shame as its a lovely pub

Quite a small pub but has great character and has great seating areas for you if you are with a group ... lots of memorabilia to look at throughout too.
