Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

I visited on Sunday 4th August and on entering I immediately felt an all encompassing feeling of peace. I'm in my 8th decade and I've never had this experience any where ever before.

Seriously am I the only one not getting this, I was so disappointed there is really nothing to see except mounds and you kinda have to squint and try really hard. I was there not so long ago on a cycle sportif and apart from the balaklava wearing barista who charged Paris prices for Navan coffee there wasn't much to see. We met a French family who had travelled over from Paris and they said that the highlight for them was our freakish attempt at the Tour de France, we laughed and said no it was a poor persons Road Ràs unfortunately it was lost in translation as was the idea of druids and a hill selling poor coffee and Angel cards they also said they had the Mona Lisa, Tour De Eiffel and Eurodisney we replied " have you seen Tayto Park and the new M3" They said no & no in a typical French manner. In a nutshell hill of Tara is a coffee and trinket shop beside a big field where druids used tp hang aroung. Enjoy yourself but you won't see me I'll be in Tayto Park

The Hill of Tara has an old bookshop, an antique shop and an excellent restaurant where you can have a full meal or maybe some homemade scones with clotted cream and strawberry jam. All of that combined with one of the most historic sites in Ireland to explore makes this a must go to destination.

I have attended a number of workshops both in the main house/shop and in the new marquee out back.

The shop is chock full of items including lots of Courtney Davis' wonderful art, lovely jewelry, books and Oracle card decks, crystals and polished stones, incense and other interesting items too numerous to list. There is a well in the corner where you can meditate and leave an offering.

Just past the studio is Tara well and you can purchase a tiny bottle in the shop to take home some of the holy water.

It's a great place to attend workshops with the wonderful energy of Tara, and worth a look at the wonderful art and other interesting items if you're up walking the hill.

It was a pleasure and delight to visit the studio of Courtney as he has created a beautiful atmosphere to display his works of art. We purchased many original pieces of his bronze jewelry and are happy to have supported a local artist of the land and lore.

Courtney Davis runs the studio and one could easily spend 45 minutes browsing through the many items in the studio. Was very pleased to light a candle, take an angel card, put something on paper and burn it in the cauldron. Its a centre for healing and you certainly get a peaceful feeling entering the building. If you are visiting Tara, be sure to drop in.
