Fantastic party venue. Lovely atmosphere and children could play inside and outside and see the animals. Plenty to do for all ages even the baby brothers and sisters.
Food was great quality and plentiful with excellent service from staff especially Sarah who looked after us.
Christmas decorations and atmosphere were fab and there is a gorgeous cafe and craft shop for parents too.
Would highly recommend Clonfert Pet Farm for a party.

Went here for the Halloween special last year and the kids really enjoyed it so we did it again this year and again they really enjoyed it.
Halloween decorations were good and a scary walk through with people dressed up inside to scare you loads of fun.
Funfair at the end is good fun, rides are children rides.
Nice set up for the animals plenty of space and clean.
One thing I would highly recommend is to wear wellies of trainers you don't care about as up the funfair Park it's very mucky.

Perfect for most children and family. Animals, play areas and great restaurant. We loved it and will be back soon. Best farm we've been to.

We went to Clonfert pet farm yesterday. It was a Sunday and when I say it was busy, my god I haven’t been anywhere as busy in a long long time. The car park was jammed, massive queue for the bouncy castle children only getting 3 or 4 minutes on it before staff telling them their time was up. Zip line queue was 15 kids deep. The tiny playgrounds were FULL and the soft play area again was too small to accommodate the amount of people they’d let in for the 13:00-16:00 session. There were a lot of birthday parties, just far too busy for the small little farm that it is. My son enjoyed the go carts which was the only saving grace of the trip. Overall really disappointed. They need to reduce the amount of people they’re booking in for these sessions because it’s completely unenjoyable when it’s that packed.

A mixed bag, some excellent facilities for the kids and plenty of interesting animals to see. However, on that point I really feel the need to highlight the clearly distressed state of one of the raccoons, which was pacing back and forth again and again, the whole time we were there (Sunday 21st of August). We actually went back to check several times over the course of a few hours. This upset/angered several of our group especially the children. I don’t think it’s at all appropriate to cage wild animals like that in what is supposed to be a pet farm. I note also that another review from two weeks ago had the same concern about the same animal, so this is obviously not a one off incident.

It’s ok ! A bit pricey for what you have, Took us 45 minutes to walk around it, €22 for four of us for not much. Didn’t stop at the cafe as the smell of grease was overpowering. Shop like all gift shops very over priced. Parking a huge issue not to mention the roads to it very small and tight especially when you meet an oncoming car. It’s ideal for really young kids as have small outdoor playground not ideal for older kids. A little disappointed if I’m honest. Toilets not the cleanest and the smell of grease over powered the smell of the animals.

The layout is amazing and the grounds are well kept, plenty of room for kids to run around and the BBQ area with room to have picnics is brilliant. Any amount of hand sanitiser and 7 euro entry fee is an absolute bargain!
The one element that we did find upsetting was some of the animals looked distressed. It was a very warm day and was quiet busy, so numerous factors could have contributed (I'm no expert) but a raccoon was pacing frantically up and down which we found really concerning.
Amazing facility overall and so much potential but we walked away feeling like some of the animals weren't happy.
Would happily pay more money 10-15 euro if it meant more could be done to improve animal welfare.

Just visited while staying locally for a few days. Struggled to fill more than an hour or two here. It was a nice wee display of animals but there wasn't much and no opportunity to interact with animals at all. We were done with the animals in less than 45mins. Lots of play areas for the kids but very disappointed that mini golf was a separate charge. I think it would need to be included in the price. Don't know if we'd rush back here if we returned to the area.

Just had our little one's birthday party hosted at Clonfert Pet Farm. All our guests were well looked after and were very impressed with the venue. Everyone had really great time and will for sure come back soon.
We personally love coming back there few times a year.
Such a lovely place to spend a day with a family, there is a lot of different activities for kids in all ages as well as adults. Amazing animals, everyone loved the peacock.
Beautiful place, would highly recommend it to anyone 💕

We visit the Farm on a very regular basis. The owners have done and continue to do a fantastic job in developing and expanding the Farm experience. It’s great to see the continuous improvements here every time we visit. For anyone who is questioning the welfare of the animals, you can always see the constant care they are getting, the freshest of foods, the redesigned spacious enclosures etc. Our kids (5,7) love it there, my son just had his 7th birthday there and all of his pals had a brilliant time. There’s so much to do, no matter what their interest. And I absolutely love the new Cafe and Barn shop showcasing all of the great local and Irish businesses around. Wishing you continued success, we will be there plenty of times over the Summer.

Is this suitable for 13 yearold

They may be a little old for most of the activities at the farm like bouncy castle, playgrounds, zip lines, go-carts and indoor play would only suit ages up to 9 years. They may enjoy the animals, crazy golf, football pitch.
Is this suitable for younger children-2yrs? Any activities/events especially for the younger age group?

Hi Karen. Many thanks for your enquiry. I'm assuming your talking about the wallaby in the paddock and not the ones inside. Yes the wallaby has cataracts in his eye, he is blind for the past few years. He is our oldest wallaby but very gentle and loves life. He reason he was in paddock and not with other two is because he knows his way around and where his food and water is kept. The other two will join him in a few weeks when paddock drys up a bit. Hope this helps u! Many thanks for getting in touch and hope you visit us again soon. Sinead

Hi had they certain times when they feed the animals or is it when there is a crowd around?
Kevin G
County Meath, Ireland29 contributions
They're very flexible . . . if you have kids who want to feed animals talk to the guys working there - some of the animals have food beside them and you can give to animals.
Is there any bus route to the farm?
