Wonderfull morning walking in this forest park with family. The lake was beautiful withlots of wildlife to be seen.

This is a very fine nature park on the outskirts of Portumna town. I would recommended hiring a bike in town and then taking a spin out.

very nice walks but sign posting is very poor. A 40 minute walk could very easily take you 80 minutes if you get lost in the maze.

Gates close at 7pm as far as I remember and I didn't see any sign of that changing for the summer time but I could be mistaken.
