Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

There was a church in Carrigaline in the 7th century whose monks (it is believed) were linked to St Finbarr's Monastery in Cork. This church is gone but it is remembered by the location named Kilnagleary or Cill na gClearach which means the Church of the Clerics. Subsequently another church was built in the 1700s, called "The Chapel of St John the Baptist" and this was located on the aptly named, Church Hill. Finally in 1957, the Church of Our Lady & St John opened and has welcomed a strong congregation ever since. The church is very beautiful with some very lovely windows. It has three extremely committed & dedicated priests who are actively supported by parishioners. The church has a wide range of choirs and when Mass from this church was aired on RTE a few years ago, members of these choirs combined to sing for the Mass. There is an Aifreann Gaeilge every month here and appropriately, there is a Cór Gaeilge (Irish choir) who sing at this Mass. Additionally, as the church is located opposite an excellent hotel, it is a popular choice for weddings.
