We had a amazing meal at this lovely authentic Irish pub, the staff were very friendly, there was a great courtyard you could sit in and for the kids to play and the food was excellent, clean plates all round. I had the best monkfish scampi ever. This little gem is definitely worth a visit 😀

Missed the live music as we weren't there at the right time but I believe it's every week. Great beer and atmosphere and nice pub to have drink in while you're on your hols!

We travelled from Tullamore to East Cork to see the band Loudest Whisper who were finishing off a touR with two nights in the Blackbird. We were welcomed by locals, the band remembered us and thanked us for travelling to see them. We had a fabulous time, the music was, as ever with LW, superb and would go back again.... More

Really nice bar to pop in for a drink and relax when in Ballycotton! They have a front bar where there is often a trad session on in the small space but it feels so intimate and just great with very talented musicians! Then there is another room behind the bar which is great for a gathering with a bitter... More

Nothing to dislike at all.............great staff, wonderful old world atmosphere, very clean, wonderful beer garden with food from the Field Kitchen unit that looks like 'street food' kitchen. Fantastic music very often here....see their facebook page for dates and names. Just a fab old pub with history of good music.....fab spot for afters of weddings. Extremely popular.

This is a little gem of a pub, fab atmosphere, great local welcome, live music was brilliant, experienced an unexpected session on a previous night where the talent was incredible. Great bear garden I the back that serves lip licking food. Most definitely a must try :)
