What an absolutely spectacular sight seeing this great geyser erupt every few minutes. We stayed here for a while and watched it several times.

Nice and very interesting place, worth to stop. Eruptions are every 15 minutes and are astonishing to see and feel. Had a luck, that there were not that much buses as at some attractions. Bit disappointed by the size of the area - we assumed...More

Definitely worth a visit! Easy to get to and free! Not too crowded with visitors . Be careful if you have small children

A bit disappointed as the geyser didn’t reach great heights due to the raging wind. Great soup in the information centre though!

Don't stand near it when it blows. It will soak you depending how close you are - we were right there... The rest of the springs are hot ~ 100 agrees celsius. A great visit on a cold day.

My first experience seeing a geyser erupt. Goes off like clockwork, so you can go see it and check mark it off the bucket list.

You take the road 427 to Hveragerdi, it goes along the coast and from Hveragerdi you can drive to Sellfoss, Geysir and Thingvellir :)
