We so thoroughly enjoyed the play Not Really A Door! The women performing are nothing short of first rate amazing. The play is creative, clever and fun, and how cool to see such a play in a truly haunted hotel! Perfection!

When visiting Eureka Springs don't miss the late night production of the play "Not Really A Door" at the 1886 Cresent Hotel. This original work by playwright and director Keith Scales will keep you engaged from beginning to end. The play is a ghost story, a farce, a mystery-thriller, and a puzzle. The actresses are fully immersed in their roles... More

We enjoyed seeing the one act, two woman play "Not Really a Door". I'm not certain but I think the writer was controlling the lights and music. If he was or if he wasn't he was laughing at all of the jokes and gasping at the twists in the story and it was adorable. The actresses were wonderful and they... More

The last thing we were expecting, Saturday night, was that we'd be watching a play in the most haunted hotel in America. But we found ourselves laughing, and gasping, and actually really caring about the two women in the play. One is a ghost, one is a killer - - we knew that going in because of the brochure advertising... More

"Not Really A Door" at the theatre in the historic Crescent Hotel (Eureka Springs) is a special evening of entertainment. This suspenseful paranormal story has an intriguing premise that captures your imagination. The play includes special effects, witty repartee, fine acting, and unexpected plot twists. Attend the play and join a ghost tour for a fun night with the "other... More

We wouldn't have known about this play (the people at the front desk didn't tell us about it) if we hadn't gotten to talking to some of our fellow guests on Saturday morning. They'd been to NOT REALLY A DOOR, the play at the Crescent Hotel, the night before, and had been delighted. Since we'd gone on a ghost tour... More

If this was a free event, and it was raining outside leaving us with nothing to do, it might be something to do. The actors did a really good job and you can tell how passionate and professional they are. The script though is so convoluted, The actors back and forth is understandable but when the story line changes it... More

My wife and attended one of the hidden gems in the Ozarks, a One Act Play held at the Crescent Hotel in Eureka Springs, AR. The play, written by staff member - Keith Scales, is a entertaining and intriguing play that keeps the audience on the edge of their seats throughout trying to figure out who is who and what... A must do every trip, glad my girl got to take it in before rest of party arrived. With everything else on agenda, we only had time for a drive by! Girlfriends pics completely capture our sacrifice...

We loved this old historic building that is still used as hotel. It has a great gift shop with local artisan works and others that were high end products, The lady working in the gift shop was very helpful and personable. The tour trolly and people working it was incredibly helpful and informative.
