My wife and I received tickets to the tour as part of a package at the Basin Park Hotel. The tour begins at Basin Park, and lasted about an hour and a half. There is plenty of stair climbing throughout the tour, unfortunately those with limited mobility will probably not be able to attend. Our tour guide was very knowledgeable... More

Incredibly interesting to learn the history of Eureka Springs and the underground system. It was a bit disappointing to only "look at the paths" and not really get to walk through them. Hopefully funding becomes available to save this piece of history because even through exploring the actual tunnels was limited it was incredibly interesting to learn the history of... More

We liked our tour-guide and the tour was fairly interesting. I think once the tour has more funding, it will be much better.

Very interesting tour. I have been coming to Eureka since 2005 and never knew about the underground. Out tour guide was very good . She is a local who has lived in Eureka all her life so she had some very detailed information. Lots of walking and stair climbing but totally doable. I am 66 and I had no trouble.

You're not underground very often. This is a great tour for history buffs who want to learn about the town. I understand that the underground is part of that but you only get to go in two short tunnels and back. Then there is a video at the end. Our tour guide was great with vast knowledge and being a... Wanted to see more of the underground. It was extremely stair heavy and strenuous and there was no warning on the site when purchasing tickets. The tour guide was exceptional though. She knew the history very well and she was very descriptive in her stories. She pointed out things that made you see the underground a different way.

Although our group had 27 people at our 4 pm tour we still learned a great deal and had a nice walk too. From standing on the auditorium stage where famous musicians have played to hanging out where nefarious visitors hid their activities you can't help but marvel at the uniqueness that makes Eureka Springs stand out among other small... If you are interested in histories, I would recommend this. Our tour guide was very knowledgeable about the history of Eureka Springs. We got to visit underground tunnels that were build for moon shinningn and underground casinos. I got to learn that Al Capone was a part of this city and it's underground illegal things. It was a lot of... More

If you're interested in history and want a unique experience by a passionate guide, this is exactly what you should do. We loved this tour, even though I think the name of it is a little misleading. We thought we'd be touring underground, but a lot of the tour was above-ground. Still, that is pretty minor because we got loads... More
