Its ok and nice if you keep your eyes to the right going and to the left returning. New cars and rottening olf buildings are not Finish nature at its best, though they are a part of our history ( not the cars )

The Tulliniemi nature path is really nice. It takes you to the southernmost point of Finland. There is wonderful view from the cape Tulliniemi to the sea. Lots of sea birds so take binoculars with you.

The idiocy, of human beings, is well express in this Amazing Beautiful place.
Last was building a wooden footbridge in the middle of the wild beauty of the dunes.
Crazy.
If you dont get what I mean, you do have some cognitive serious limit.

The nature path runs at a peninsula, on a narrow strip between the sea and the fenced free harbour area, full of imported cars waiting to be transported forward. So not really a "nature" experience as such. However, a nice walk to the peak and back. The walk was 7.3km and took 1:40 from and to the parking place.

The Tulliniemi Nature path is a favourite walk for visitors and tourists alike - but be sure to bring your good walking boots; while the path is generally well maintained, some parts are stones and gravel and there might be wet and muddy patches. We saw several deer and all sorts of birdlife including the ubiquitous white swans.

Very nice nature path for people seeking nature experiences. You can even visit the former German transit camp by booking a guide

I didnt walk all the way because the weather was so windy, that my 1year old were crying and we had to turn around. But what i sow, it was beautiful and easy to walk (dont take strollers with you, like I did 🙄).
Take a good clothes with you and i guess its easier with bigger children.

Quite an embarrassing natural park.

Most of the time you walk by the immense car parks / storages. Huge and empty spaces and warehouses.... Would it be the time to restore the real natural park and get rid of those asphalted areas and empty warehouses in this beautiful peninsula....? Why vehicles for sales or transport should have a sea view? It is a disgrace this is one of the few so-called nature parks in the southern Finland.

Tulliniemi Nature Trail leads to Cape Tulliniemi, the southernmost point of Finnish mainland. The trail is a bit over three kilometers in one direction. Then you have to walk back along the same trail. There aren't any services there. However, Cafe Oasis is situated near the parking place (address Tulliniementie 1) of the trail.

The trail leads past the huge port facilities of Hanko. You see imported cars etc. on the left. On the right you see beautiful sea views. The end of the headland is a nature reserve. You even may see rare plants, butterflies, birds or bats. Signposts with interesting facts are both in Finnish, Swedish and English.

During and after the war Tulliniemi was a very important place. So you see many war memories, too. Hanko was leased by Soviet Union in 1940 and barracks with two large accommodation blocks were built. However, during the war 1941-1944 Tulliniemi was leased by German forces and then over 100 barracks blockhouses were built. After Germans left, Tulliniemi was used e.g. as a camp were prisoners of war were interrogated. In 1948 Tulliniemi was converted into a labor camp for women convicted for crimes. It was used until the 1960s.

The best part of this trail is situated in the end of the cape. There you see the wonderful sea scenery. There are beautiful rocks or cliffs and some tables there. So this is a good place to have a picnic.

Tulliniemi area is easy to access. Beautiful especially in the evening light / sunset. First ride a bike from the centre and then walk the 3,3 km long path to southern most point of Finland. The nature path runs through a conservation area.
