Interesting dam, with a very informative visitor center. Must go to the very top for the breathtaking view of the dam. Walking trail's around the area for bird watching.

If you are in the area we recommend that you take an couple of hours and visit the Bull Shoals Dam and surrounding sites.

When we first moved here in 1991 we are totally amazed by the area and have loved it ever since! We take every visitor now to the Gaston Overview area! We love the beauty of the area and the lake etc.!!

Recently went to Bull Shoals welcome center. The history and panoramic views of this area are incredible. History of the White River was eye opening. Must see!!!

We took our granddaughters to the dam. I wanted to show them highlights of places I would visit when I grew up in the area. I'm pretty sure they enjoyed it. I certainly did! Brought back a lot of memories.
