Cosmic Cavern was discovered in 1845, but wasn'€™t developed until 1927. The cave features a 9 foot soda straw the longest known in the Ozarks, and two bottomless lakes. One of the lakes was discovered in 1993 in the "Silent Splendor" section which made national news. This was Arkansas’ most delicate discovery. Make sure to bring your camera! Gift Shop, Snacks, Picnic area and camping available.

The cave is small and has some very nice features but little is done to highlight special formations. It could use improved lighting in some areas as it was very difficult to see in areas of the cave. We were in a very large group...More

This place is great. The tour guides are very knowledgeable, and ours offered to take many pictures. She took about 15-20 pictures each time, so you were guaranteed to get a good shot. I really liked how this cave felt more "cavey" than others I've...More

Thanks for coming to see us. We like to tell folks that our cave is warmer than Walmart they don’t overdress. 64 feels like 68 with all the walking around and humidity.

Been to a few caves in the area, I must say this is the best. It is a narrower cave then the others I have been in. Has a few tight spots, but HEY its a cave! Guides were well informed and professional.

Trista (our guide) was very pleasant, accommodating & informative. I had to get a refund (which was nice of them to issue) for my mother because my young daughter had a meltdown before it started. Luckily so, because they won't have enjoyed it due to...More

Our family loved, loved, loved this tour! This was not our first cavern experience but it was the best! It happened that we went early on a Tuesday morning and were the only family for the tour so it felt like a more personal experience....More

Wow, those are some steep steps! Everyone climbed them fine, though, from the three-year-old to the father-in-law who struggles a bit with balance. This isn't the grandest cave I've visited, but it was a unique experience because it's run by a private owner instead of...More
