We were on our way to the Grand Canyon, what else?! And we had been there already.. Williams is worth exploring, too. People are very friendly:) I and one of the ladies (total 5 in our group!) went for an evening walk downtown. Nice shops, quiet atmosphere, and I am sure there would have been a little "action", too, had... More

We enjoyed trying to picture how things must have been during the road's heyday. The town's collection of museums, exhibits and gift-shops was very interesting.

Cool way to check out historic shops on Route 66, great places to eat and shops to spend your hard earned cash in.

We had so much fun walking up and down Route 66 in Williams. Lots of little shops and super nice people. A ton of neon and a lot of old signs...super fun!!!

We spent an interesting couple of hours wandering up and down the main street (route 66) after spending the best part of the day at Grand Canyon. Lots of stores selling similar merchandise with a western theme or 'route 66'. There were a few attractive pieces of silver and gem stone jewellery, art work and wall hangings but also a... More

Williams AZ is best place to stay with great restaurants, affordable hotels, nice shops, and Cowboy show in the streets every night. Only 1.5 from South Rim.

We visited the town of Williams today, it was on our way from Grand Canyon and I must say it was really a nice place. As we drove into town my children immediately recognized buildings and places from the "Cars" movie. We walked around in the centre of town and had a great time. If you plan on going, see... More
