Read about this town in a route 66 book. The last town to be by-passed by the interstate, many of the old motels, businesses, etc are just like they were from the 50s or 60s. Several good places to eat and some good shops as...More

Williams is a neat place to visit, with varied venues and things to see. Right now, it is our quiet time, so if you like and prefer less hassle and bustle, Williams right now is the place to walk. One can do the whole downtown...More

Our first stop was Williams . We just had to see Route 66. This was the last town to take the bypass by the interstate highway. It was like stepping back in time. It seemed like such a friendly little town. People actually smiled and...More

Came up here for a night from Sedona with my boyfriend who had a conference here. I kept myself busy walking around town and checking out all the shops. Fun little town for a night!

Very interesting town tight out of the past. Route 66 with lists of history. Very enjoyable. Very much a tourist trap but fun.

Williams is a nostalgic town. It is as it was from the 50's. We loved the charm and beauty of the 'ol days and right on the original Route 66.

Relive the old west as the cowboys in Williams reenact a gunfight right in the middle of the old Route 66 main street through town (around 7pm each evening). They even pull members of the crowd into this event and add some humor to it...More

I loved this town! Plenty of lodging, lots of delicious restaurants (although they are all a little over priced they know how to get the tourists!). My husband and I saw a cowboy show. There was also a lot of beautiful art stores.
