The train is good fun and a great view of the changing country side as one leaves Williams travelling through farm land etc to the Grand Canyon. I'm not into staged gunfights and train robberies tec but the people who carried them out did so in a very good spirit. They didnt take themselves seriously and turned it all into... More

We were on the train on Valentine's Day and had an awesome time. A quiet, smooth ride with interesting commentary from our psa ConyaRae,and entertainment from musicians as well. Go first class, the extra cost is worth the comfortable seating and food. If you're lucky enough to have ConyaRae as your attendant, you are guaranteed a great time !

This is a 2 1/4 hr. rail trip to the South Rim of the Grand Canyon. We were in a dome car, but I'm not sure it was worth the extra money. There is food on the train and drinks are available. Along the way there is musical entertainment and "visits" from the Sheriff. Each car has a resident host... More

On January 26, 2017, my family and friends, 7 in total, took the Grand Canyon Railway to the Grand Canyon. We had purchased tickets on line months prior. The entire experience from ticket purchase through to the train and extra experiences was fantastic. The most impressive was all of the staff and many people from the town of Williams sending... This was an enjoyable way to travel to and from the Grand Canyon without worrying about road conditions in February. Do your research of the Park transportation and what you want to see before you book the train. We relied on the free shuttles in the park to see what we wanted within the park. An extra half hour or... More

I was in the dome seating. Viewing was great. Staff very helpful; even took care of my one piece of luggage. Can't ask for more.

Train ride ok, not much to see until we got to the Grand Canyon. The canyon made the train trip worthwhile. Music entertainment just ok. Train robbery was silly.

Too short of a trip. But enjoyed it tremendously plenty of entertainment for my granddaughter. She had never been to the snow so she enjoyed playing in the snow. It was nice to be in the cold. The canyon was beautiful. Next time, I would bring a lunch for my grand children. Not enough snacks for the kids at the... More
