Nice Selection, Decent Prices

Nice items to select from, dolls, rugs, CD's, posters and the like. I remembered prices of a few things I didn't buy, and saw them later in other stores marked a bit higher. I... read more

Lots of new Native American & older pawn jewelry at very reasonable prices. Good selection of various craft items & pottery also. The Code Talkers Museum was great too.

Stopped here on recent trip. There was a navajo woman in need of help, she had come here to sell her wares and missed her ride home. She began drawing pictures of landscapes and the store clerk called the police, which upset me until the clerk explained to me that the woman only spoke Navajo and the police would let... More

It's really quite a large trading post thought much of what they are selling is just tourist junk like T shirts. But there are genuine hand made Navajo rugs which are lovely and there are examples of good Indian pottery and basketry and jewelry. November is probably not a high tourist time and we were the only people in the... More

Prices were comparable or slightly less than those at the Heard Museum Gift Shop for authentic Navajo crafts - pottery, jewelry, carved items etc. . Good selection of books about the Navajo and Hopi people.

I am not much of a souvenir buyer so we went to see the display of the Code talkers museum. It got me pretty emotional seeing the contribution and sacrifice these men made to win the war with Japan in WWII. Real American spirit!

This authentic old trading post has a great selection of Navajo rugs and jewelry as well as books and lots of souvenirs, all of which are very reasonably priced. ( The Cameron Trading Post has many of the same items, but at much higher prices.) The most interesting part of the trading post is the small (free) museum to the... More

Stopped in here since we wanted to see the Navajo Code Talkers Museum, which is inside. Unfortunately the museum was closed on the Sunday we visited. Since the museum was closed we wandered through the shop and saw some interesting Navajo souvenirs as well as a number of nice T-shirts.

I stopped in here while visiting Tuba City and ended up buying a lot of souvenirs. Not really into buying those things especially since 99% say Made In China. Not these souvenirs though. Most of their goods are handcrafted. They have no problem telling you the ones that aren't. I compared their prices to other places and this place wins... More

Store is interesting, and worth a look. In an old building, which adds to the experience. The grounds have numerous photos from early days. Navajo Museum is next door. It's all well done.
