We did this tour on Saturday 3/11/2017. This was an excellent way to learn about the history of Tombstone and of course the Gunfight "near" the OK Corral. :-) Dr. Jay is very informative and tells it in a story that is very informative and also funny. Once you go on the tour the name badge from the tour gets... More

I will concur with other reviewers that this walking tour with Dr. Jay, wife Linda and dressed up doggy, Misty, is superb. Attended during a quick girls weekend with friends, some very familiar with the Tombstone lore and others only knew the Kurt Russell movie version. We all walked away with new information provided by Dr. Jay in a very... More

Entertaining, educational, historical, and a little hokey....this is a great way to begin your first visit to Tombstone. Get the background history in this 1.5 hour tour before you set out to explore on your own, and you will better understand what you should see from there, according to your interests. Dr. Jay made it entertaining and brought it to... More

Gather in front of the old Tombstone courthouse to begin a walk back into history with Dr, Jay. Dressed in period costume, Dr. Jay (an expert -- even by PBS standards -- on Tombstone history) with take you back to the days of Wyatt Earp and his brothers when the West was truly WILD! Didn't know that the Chinese played... More

I wanted a good overview before I visited the local sites. Now mind you, I am a history nut and knew much of the lore of Tombstone. Dr. Jay was spot on in his descriptions, and opened new areas of history I did not know. He was not only knowledgeable, but entertaining as well. I would suggest anyone visiting Tombstone... More

Being a New Yorker who loves the theater along with an aficionado of Westerns and two Texans, we were marvelously surprised and astounded by the wealth of knowledge, the engaging demeanor and the attention to detail presented by Dr. Jay. This is one of the highlights of our trip through the Southwest. We traveled through Tombstone learning about the history... More

My husband and I visited Tombstone while on vacation and, having read positive reviews on TripAdvisor, we called Dr. Jay first thing. We were so happy we did! We met Dr. Jay at high noon, along with two other couples. Dr. Jay led us on a walking tour of Tombstone, which we thoroughly enjoyed. Dr. Jay is quite knowledgeable about... More
