Welcome to the Tombstone Courthouse State Historic Park. Built in 1882 in the shape of a Greek cross, this two-story Victorian structure once housed the offices of the Sheriff, Recorder, Treasurer, Board of Supervisors, Jail, and Courtrooms of Cochise County. Today this 12,000 sq.Ft. Courthouse is a museum filled with the glitter and guns of those who tamed the territory.

The park includes a museum, exhibits, a gift shop, restrooms and shaded picnic areas.

Our Gift Shop features a wide variety of books, postcards, t-shirts, collective coins, badges, coffee mugs, some handcrafted items and other souvenirs.

We accept Visa, MasterCard, Discover and Cash. Museum is open daily from 9:00am- 5:00pm. Gift shop closes at 4:45pm. Stop in for an interesting tour and/or the perfect gift!

This was our third visit. Each time is as enjoyable as the first. It is interesting to see actual historical items. The exhibits are concise and not cluttered. Spend all the time you want for $5, a real bargain. This town and surrounding area sure had a lot going on over the years. Don't miss the Courthouse Museum.

Lot to see here for the history buffs. My kids 7 and 10 were bored. If you made the trip to Tombstone then you have to put this place on your list. The hand drawn posters of the Shootout are interesting.

Good place to start your visit to Tombstone. Good history and information on the timeline. I would recommend you start here before walking through the town. Check out the gallows out in the yard.

Very historic and well preserved. The building itself is historic and the displays a nice variety of the building and the history or town and yes the OK Corral shootout in detail. Enjoy!

Interesting, self-guided tour. They have the set up of an old jail cell, a gallows, and interesting facts about judges and lawyers of the 1800's. They also have a section on cattle farming with a display of different types of barbed wire, saddles, etc.

This is the best place in town we visited, and the least touristy. Instead just a great museum loaded with facts and artifacts. Very educational and well worth the $5 fee. A must see if visiting the area. BObK

We learned that saying when watching a video that is played in the courtroom about the water issues in Tombstone area. It discussed a tragedy when two little girls were drowned after a neighbour blew up a dam. Lots of other information including about the fires that destroyed Tombstone in the past. Enjoyed the displays.
