I was there in different occasions for musicals such as the Lion King, Les Miserables and interviews such as the one with Noam Chomsky. The seating is comfortable and access to exits is easy although a long walk up the ramp for the upper seating...More

We have seen several venues here. Most recent - The Book of Mormon yesterday. The sound was not very crisp for this show so it was hard to hear all the talking/jokes :-( This place is great for musicals/bands/shows - you name it. We were...More

I attended The Book of Mormon musical performed at Gammage Auditorium. The musical was quite good and fit the performance stage perfectly. Gammage is a wonderful site to attended shows, concerts, etc. The seating was comfortable and foot room quite ample. The sound from the...More

We saw The Book of Mormon this week. The play was funny and well acted, but the sound was terrible. It was very loud, but I could only understand about half the words. The high range treble is way too strong, and mid-range vocal frequencies...More

Frank Lloyd Wright design. Its a throwback to mid-century design. Sound was loud, but somewhat difficult to distinguish words. A place to see a show just for the history of the place.

Traveling from New Jersey, we were fortunate to see the First touring show of "Book of Mormon". The show as advertised was laced with adult language and was fabulous. This Frank Lloyd Wright auditorium is done in his ever present red tone and has some...More

I can't say enough about the Gammage and their ability to bring Broadway hits to the Phoenix area. We recently attended the Broadway show Finding Neverland. From the music to the singing and acting this was a smash hit. The adult actors were incredible and...More

What did I like? The wide aisles that make it easy to get to your seat--even if it's in the middle of the row! The spacious ladies room that has enough stalls for everyone to make a pit stop at intermission and not spend it...More

Saw two Broadway shows, both excellently produced and acted. Gammage staff are friendly and attentive.

The offerings are wonderful: best place to see touring shows and special events such as the Loudmouth Comedy Tour. They have made a lot of improvements such as a ramp for wheelchair accessibility and additional toilets. You are able to purchase a variety of beverages...More

I agree with calling the theater for exact details. My friend has two bad knees and she won't chance getting a handicap seat because they can remove you from the seat if someone needs it and they do have to pronounce with... More

I have never sat in the balcony, but in the center of the lower level the seats can't be beat. I personally wouldn't sit in the first 10 rows or so as I prefer to sit back a little to get a broader view of the whole stage.
