Cool area filled with shopping, restaurants, bars, and art. Easily found parking. Once parked, you can walk everywhere you need to go. Family enjoyed the visit. Plenty of good places just to hang out.

The Mill Avenue District of Tempe, AZ, borders Arizona State University. Mill Avenue itself is a fun collection of shops, restaurants and art museums. The museums are closed each Monday. It’s a pet-friendly area but not exactly wonderful for children. Close to the Zoo and...More

Several times a year, Mill St is closed and it and several adjoining streets are closed as they host the Tempe Arts Fair, a lively collection of hundreds of booths with wares that run to the extremes. There are musicians and the ever-present food vendors...More

Very up tempo feel... No question that you are on a college campus. Very unique shops and restaurants. Fun experience regardless of your age!

Fun location with lots of restaurants and bars. We went to the American bar, Dirk's Bentley and Low Key which is a dueling pianos bar. Younger crowds but, we had no problems. There is a lot of homeless around but, they did not bug us.

Typical college town. I would not say it was like Old Town Scottsdale. There were lots of restaurants and only a few stores. It seemed that many of the shops were about smoking. We did eat and the Mellow Mushroom and that was great and...More
