My Family had such a great time on the beach. From walking to seeing all the beautiful buildings in the back drop. There was some sort of festival going on which brought a very nice friendly crowd. My teens really loved taking pictures.

I have been to Tempe Beach Park for a couple music festivals and have enjoyed it. Clean, good atmosphere and generally good vibe.

Paddle boats and more great for a break from spring training. You have to look hard for the free parking. We parked in a public parking garage and had to pay.

We go here every time we're in Tempe as it is a super easy to do walk. You can go short or long and walking next to the water is relaxing. Never crowded and easy walking.

Well-maintained urban park connected with extensive paved paths along both sides of the river. I walked a few mile long loop down towards the airport, across the river, and back up the other side. The whole thing was very clean and well-maintained, and it seems...More

Well worth a walk or an evening stroll. This is within easy walking distance of Mill Avenue and ASU. There are some boats for rent or hire. Shade trees and grass in many areas. Rare large urban lake in the Phoenix area.

We ran the marathon here. Nice park with a unique bronze of city workers. Good place to enjoy morning coffee.

I wouldn’t want to swim in that water. It’s stinky. Besides, there’s boats going around. Don’t want to be hit by one.
