The ushers, etc., are all volunteers, and they do a great job in being helpful. Wherever you sit, you have a good view of the game. Besides major league spring training, they also host several college baseball tournaments throughout the year.

Caught a game today. Really enjoyed the stadium and park. Everything was neat and clean the way that baseball should be. We have tickets to tomorrow's game too. Parking is free!

Went to a Rockies and Rangers game. We had great seats and enjoyed the game. Food selection was not very good compared to other spring training parks. Parking is free and the area is nice. The Air Force fighter jets flying over was cool.

Great place to watch a spring baseball game. Royals draw big crowds, so advance tickets are recommended. Lots of room & great concession areas. Hot on the day we attended. IF heat is a concern, get first baseline tickets up high to make sure you have shade. Smaller stadium, so there are no bad seats. Enjoy!

Assuming for a moment it is more about the stadium and less about the team playing there or the quality of the game, this is one of the nicer stadiums in the Cactus League. Sure, it is older but it is actually more quaint than some of the others which are larger and more spread out. Parking is free here... More

saw a Dodgers-Rangers game here; not a bad seat in the house, good and easy access throughout. Concessions were OK. Only complaints: sound system is more than blaring - just way too loud - and the team store didn't have much stuff, period. Free parking, though, and really friendly staff.

We stayed in Gilbert so heading to Surprise Stadium was a little bit of a trek, but it was worth it. The design of the stadium was great as most of the seats were in the shade for our afternoon game. This is a huge bonus when it's sunny and in the high 90's like it was for our visit.... More

I can not remember when I have had a better ball game experience than watching the Royals and Mariners play during a spring training game. The field is beautiful, facilities clean and staff friendly. Field situated with the sun behind stadium shading much of the viewing area. Might be a bit tough on the outfielders. Parking is easy and plentiful... More

Fun to watch warm-ups in the morning and then the game in the afternoon. Food of course is overpriced. Great place to see players up close. Fan gear to buy had too much Rangers gear and not enough Royals. Out of larger sized Spring Training fitted hats. Only had size 7 and smaller. It was a hot day and the... More
