This historic site is really interesting, but the best part is hiking Brown Canyon. There are several trails to take and all of them are interesting and the views are awesome.

If you are a hobbyist, professional photographer, or just looking for somewhere beautiful this is your location. It is magical at dusk and I would assume so at dawn. I was there in the summer (mid-July) and as an Arizona Native- I never expected to...More

We've seen the sign for Brown's Canyon Ranch and decided to go and visit. It's just a mile or 2 off the highway so a really easy trip. It's a nicely preserved old ranch house and barnyard on a large preserved acreage of pasture land....More

It was interesting to look inside the ranch house. Ranchers definitely had a hard life. We did not have time to hike, but there were a lot of people hiking.

This is a great stop on a long journey. I spent only about an hour at the ranch and could have used more time. Parking is easy right by the ranch and close to the bathroom. This ranch is full of history, change of ownerships...More

Brown Canyon Ranch is a perfect site for a family picnic and short walk, or for a day-long adventure in the mountains. You can park near the historic buildings and set off into the beautiful Huachucas, through Ramsey Canyon, into the Coronado National Forest.

I do not know what "white object" you see. There is a house, a pond, and a watertank at the parking area. You can have a picnic right there at the main site, or pack it along as you hike around the grasslands at the foot... More
