Even with the super moon (30% brighter as we learned) blanking out most of the starfield this was still an excellent tour. Great mix of scientific information and history as well as an opportunity to appreciate the beauty of various stars, binary clusters, nebulae, etc. Very clear directions, easy to do. Important to dress warmly.

Just got back from this experience and it was beyond fantastic! Wasn't quite sure what to expect but it was spectacular. It was well organized and loaded with interesting information and sights. We had 10 people in our group and Wes was our guide. He explained everything very well and answered all of our questions in a way that helped... More

Didn't realize that Sedona had reached 'dark sky' status. The sky was so clear in July 2016. Our guide Dave was great. The telescope was a 12" with strong magnification. A well done professional tour. It is held at locations like a high school soccer field. Red lights and your guide get you in place. They provide chairs and blankets... More

It was about a 20-25 minute drive from our hotel in Sedona to the site, and Cliff sent us detailed directions. We were in a group of 9 with Dave as our leader. We parked our cars in the dirt lot and Dave walked us over to the soccer field where he had his telescope, chairs, and blankets set up.... More

This was an incredible experience and definitely a highlight of our trip. Our guide, Niles, was extremely knowledgeable and made the stories he told of the stars, constellations, and galaxies very interesting for adults and kids alike. He had his own humongous 15 inch telescope and was able to find some of the most distant galaxies for us in seconds.... More

We thoroughly enjoyed our stargazing event. Everything went according to plan. We had a nice clear sky and David was extremely knowledgeable. It was cold so when they say dress warm with hat and gloves they mean it!!! They provide cotton blankets but a wool throw would work better so if you have one take it along. Very enjoyable evening... We booked this during our stay in Sedona back in December. Cliff was great with communication. The day we booked had a lot of overcast so he messaged me all day to update me on whether they would cancel or not. We ended up having to cancel but he rebooked for the next day. Same thing happened and it actually... More

It is very unfortunate for us to get a review like this. We explained to the customer that we were having issues with our credit card processing company during the time that she requested a refund. It was an issue that lasted only 24 hrs. We acknowledge that the customer did contact us and we did end up processing a... More

Trevor has an amazing depth of knowledge but I would recommend not sharing so much data, such as the star catalog numbers. No one in the public attending is taking notes nor will remember. I recommend connecting to the audience with giving the group time to quietly look at the stars to find their own pattern, perhaps name it and... More

This team does a good job introducing you to the sky in the area. I do have a few tips. (1) do not bring a white flashlight. It will only ruin your night vision. You might find it handy to bring a red flashlight, but you should be fine with none at all. (2) Dress warmly. Even in autumn and... More
