For one dollar each kid got a chance to catch a beautiful rainbow trout, which then paid for by size and took home to grill for dinner. What a great experience. So much fun! On the wine trail, this was a nice stop to learn about the fishing industry in Arizona, with a small and informative museum and restrooms. Kids would enjoy seeing the fingerlings.

We stopped at the Rainbow Trout Farm during a recent visit to Sedona. Our Grandsons wanted to stop. They "allow" you to buy food and feed the trout. You can also fish and grill what you catch. Fish are packed in the main pond and easily caught in the side fishing pond. Interesting to see once, but would not return.... More

Worst experience ever. The fish were so overcrowded. Disgrace to real fishermen by just going and hooking and killing these beautiful fish.

We've taken our grandchildren here a few times. It has always been a delight to watch how thrilled they are when they catch a fish.

You get to feed the fish at feeding time, learn a lot, wineries close by why not follow wit some local wine. I've alwas likked carmel and Napa. Arizona wines are a wonderful surprise. Excellent!

I went with a group of kindergarten kids and their mom's. All the kids caught trout and we grilled them right by the pond. It was very fun and exciting since most of the kids had never caught a fish before. We purchased the grill kit at the site, but you can bring your own grill items and picnic.

We took our family to the trout farm, caught lots of trout. Ate a few there using their grill and seasonings, took two home and ate later. The boys all had a great time.

After a morning at Slide Rock, we stopped at the Trout Farm on our way back to Sedona. My sons really wanted to go fishing. The "farm" provided the gear and taught us everything we needed to know from catching to cooking them up right on the spot. They even cleaned the fish for us! A great time was had... More
