I just love Snoopy - you don't even need to have an imagination to see him lying there with Woodstock standing on his nose !!! the Best time is in the afternoon with the setting sun giving him a nice red glow

We saw this from a helicopter ride, and it LOOKS like Snoopy on his dog house. We also saw it from the road and saw the same thing.

Another beautiful rock formation for my photography travels. All of the Sedona area is beautiful, and it was a quaint though expensive town. A must see if in Arizona

We saw this site several diff times while driving in Sedona. If you look closely, you will also see Lucy just up from Snoopy, as well as what looks to be the head of Mufasa from the Lion King. Well worth driving to go see!

You sometimes wonder how the various red rock formations in Sedona get named. But this one is easy to see. Definitely Snoopy laying on his back (or on his dog house.) Don't take long and you can see him from the downtown area.

All of the scenery around Sedona is awesome. Snoopy rock is one of many formations that seem to take the shape of animals, structures, etc. It's like looking at clouds and seeing something in the shapes.

I'm a big Peanuts fan and when I found out that Sedona had a Snoopy Rock I had to find it. The red rock is fascinating then to add Snoopy to the mix just tops it off. So happy I got to see it!

We have a beagle named Snoopy, so deciding to visit here was a no-brainer, LOL. It really does look like Snoopy! And along with Bell Rock, seems to be one of the iconic rock formations of Sedona. Be sure to look for the adjacent formation...More

The rocks all have unique names and Snoopy Rock will not disappoint. You will see Snoopy in his famous reclining position. Enjoy the lovely scenery and colors.

The answer for downtown Sedona is 3,426 ft above sea level. Snoopy Rock is a small rock formation across Oak Creek in downtown Sedona. There is a small trail that leads to the top. Snoopy Rock is a 30-40 foot high rock... More
