My husband and I walked this trail today and found it to be very relaxing and beautiful. The rock climbing at the end of the maintained trail provides even an added level of perspective. Perfect activity for our first morning in Sedona.

Hubs and I took this hike as recommended. It was very nice and easy for the younger kids. Once the trail ends there is climbing opportunities for older kids and adults. Do it. It's not as hard as it looks. We saw lots of butterflies...More

Easy hike into the canyon with a big payoff in the end. At the end of the maintained trail continue up the canyon wall and hike into Half Moon Overhang with a great view of the canyon out to the Sedona Mesa

This is a gentle walk/hike in a mostly shaded path. Some boulers to navigate; some rocks to watch for, but primarily a gentle, dusty path. Heard several birds singing to one another and us and beautiful large butterflies along the way.

We enjoyed this short hike in/out. Mostly shaded. Great view of an arch if you look for it about 3/4 of the way in. Saw many skinks/lizards. Beautiful creek beds.

Nice flat Canyon hike surrounded by beautiful red rocks. Easy access -- 1 mile in and turn around. Middle of summer hike -- there is a creek bed next to trail that was dry -- would have been perfect in spring or fall/winter with some...More

The trail per se is an easy hike but the challenge for us is finding the Fay Canyon Arch which has been deemed 'pretty unique and has really nice views". We ran into another family who missed it as well on their way up. We...More

Nice flat trail but lots of rocks on path. Terribly hot. Tried to do West Fork trail near Oak Creek where it would have been shadier but no where to park after driving up there.
