We watched the sunset from airport Mesa and it was beautiful. There is a $3 fee for parking, not sure why, and the view is worth it.

Anywher high gives good views in Sedona and the views from the airport whih sits on a hill are great and woth a visit but there are better viewing spots around town.

Was told this was a good spot to have a beer and enjoy a Sedona Sunset. Did not disappoint. Food, drink, ambiance and views were spectacular!

The views from this spot is just breath taking. From high above the town of Sedona you have a splendid view in all directions of the beautiful RED ROCKS of SEDONA! This year they installed some fencing and a parking donation, which we gladly paid.

I had a very powerful reaction to this place. I felt my entire body buzzing. It was an excellent experience. Well worth the rugged hike to get to the top.

The best place in Sedona to watch the sunset over the red hills. There is paid parking right across the road.

You can actually drive up and hike down ~ or park at the bottom and hike up. The Airport Mesa is actually a really good place to see the sunset, too. AND - the entire canyon is "sacred" and there are hundreds of trails in... More

The vortex parking lot is right by the vortex. You simply walk up a hill, about 100 ft high. Easy. The airport parking lot is about 1/4 mile up hill on the road from the vortex parking lot. There is a trail that leads down... More
