Not quite Sedona's best scenery, but still pretty impressive. There's one nice pullout with a very short walk to a fantastic overlook.

Staying at the resort close by is great that a good restraunt is here. Also the sunset view is perfect. Nice trails to get a different view out onto the red rocks is awesome.

In doing research prior to our first visit to Sedona I read about the Sedona Vortexes which supposedly emit or consume energy. We decided to try visiting some but unfortunately they are located in remote mountain top locations difficult to access. The easiest to reach...More

We arrived on a windy day but the scenery was gorgeous. Nice place to get out and enjoy the views. We were told the airport restaurant was good but the day we were there, they were having a private party, so we weren't able to...More

Go! It’s an experience. Just seeing the vista is worth it! It IS and airport and I wasn’t impressed by the food, but the views are stunning.

It was a beautiful night up there and the clouds cleared just as the sun was setting behind the mountains. Absolutely breathtaking and very crowded. You will have to pay to park...$3 but worth it.

Drive up to the Sedona airport for the best view of the red rock vistas at sundown. Parking was $3 but was ample. Good easy trail half way up if you want to huge up (no fee) but parking is somewhat limited.

We have been to this restaurant many times. The food is consistently good, the outdoor patios are a great place to chill with friends. Enjoy watching the planes fly in and out. Highly recommend.

Beautiful airport with a lovely restaurant and a lawn with garden chairs to overlook the departure strips. You can bring a drink at sundown and watch the planes come and go. Very relaxing with the gorgeous Southwest red rock landscapes. Not to be missed.

We were with another previous Sedona experienced couple. After dinner they suggested to skip dessert and head up the Mesa. We were greeted by about 400 others there from the same thing. The perfect place to watch the sun give it's final kiss to the...More

You can actually drive up and hike down ~ or park at the bottom and hike up. The Airport Mesa is actually a really good place to see the sunset, too. AND - the entire canyon is "sacred" and there are hundreds of trails in... More

The vortex parking lot is right by the vortex. You simply walk up a hill, about 100 ft high. Easy. The airport parking lot is about 1/4 mile up hill on the road from the vortex parking lot. There is a trail that leads down... More
