Nice way to start the day. Easy hike to vortex with a five year old and the views are tremendous. Did not do the whole circuit just circled back and that made it easy. Recommend

Located on the Airport Rd., parking on the left side of the road. Fills up quickly. Second option is park at the top of the hill on the left in a large parking lot. Fee is $3. You can then walk the trail down to...More

Nice 3.5 mike loop. There are a lot of rocks so you need to watch your footing. Be sure to bring water it is dry in Arizona.

A beautiful hike that can be shared by people of many different physical abilities. Park and walk from any distance providing you get a spot. Well worth your time and a great experience with phenomenal views of Sedona

Great views from up top and one of the stronger vortex spots in Sedona. A fairly short climb to reach the top.

This is an actual airport for small private planes, and very picturesque. But for hikers, it's too built up. There's supposed to be a vortex here, but being next to an airport and road, it's not as private as the other vortexes. I'd suggest going...More

This is worth the drive up to the airport (about 2 miles each way) to see the view enroute, but not worth much else unless you're catching a helo tour at the runway. They even charge you $$$ to park enroute if you want to...More

If you're looking for scenery pictures, this is a great vantage to that end. You can hike up, drive up, and enjoy the view from a view finder or just absorb the natural beauty.

We watched the sunset from airport Mesa and it was beautiful. There is a $3 fee for parking, not sure why, and the view is worth it.

You can actually drive up and hike down ~ or park at the bottom and hike up. The Airport Mesa is actually a really good place to see the sunset, too. AND - the entire canyon is "sacred" and there are hundreds of trails in... More

The vortex parking lot is right by the vortex. You simply walk up a hill, about 100 ft high. Easy. The airport parking lot is about 1/4 mile up hill on the road from the vortex parking lot. There is a trail that leads down... More
