This was one of my favorite haunts on my first trip to Sedona. Excellent trails that take you quite a ways and amazing views all the way. I loved this trail and thought it was such a peaceful hike anywhere on it. I went back here time and time again. Red rocks all over but this trail seemed so calm... More

pretty fast and easy hike. short up hill all the way. from the top there is a great view of sedona and the valley. parking can be a problem in high season. pretty hot so avoid mid day hikes in summer months. popular trail so plenty of fellow hikers. bathrooms in the parking lot. across the road is the bear... For those with less hiking experience I would choose this one its pretty reasonable climb to the top, and not to long. Fantastic views.

Absolutely beautiful view of the area once you walk a short uphill hike. Once on the plateau the view and quite is breathe taking.

The trail switchbacks up the face of the mountain which is actually a flat topped Mesa. Though somewhat difficult, when you get to the top, walk across to the other side for views that take your breathe away.

Doe Mountain Trail is short; about a mile. However, it goes right up to the top of a mesa and you can then walk around the mesa and get awesome views. We loved it. Pretty steep with lots of switchbacks but still only took us about 45 mins. I would the trail moderate.

We hiked this trail with 2 adults and 3 kids (14,12,8). It was a climb to the top, but it is so worth it! Awesome views. Loved it!

The ideal trail to hike up for sunset views. But in addition you also get expansive eastward views and sometimes the full moon! Definitely worth the climb and not overly difficult.

My husband and I were able to complete this hike in less than an hour and stop for some beautiful photos. It was very accessible and felt more secluded than Cathedral Rock and Bell Rock. Although easy, it felt like good exercise because of the incline.

This short hike up to the top of the mesa was a perfect introduction to the Sedona area. We would definitely recommend bringing water and light snacks. Ideally, time your hike for mid-morning so you can have a picnic overlooking the beautiful view. Restrooms are only at the parking area.
