A must see if you are visiting the area. Sedona offers so many things to see. Take time out to see this.

We took Templeton Trail instead of climbing up Cathedral Rock . It was an absolutely beautiful trail with many surrounding Mountain View’s... This trail is shared with bicycles , so keep your ears open .... I would definitely do this trail again .

We visited here as part of a private tour. We walked up to the first flat area were our guide performed a ceremony for us. The area is beautiful and the walk to the first flat area is not very strenuous.

Pack a picnic spend the day. It’s just so relaxing and beautiful here! We’ve been here 3 times and it never is disappointing.

Hiked to cathedral rock with my family, 7 and 10 year old. Came in from the southern side via templeton trail. Easy hike, right past Buddha (spelling) beach. That was my boy's favorite part of hike. The trails were easy to moderately easy up to...More

It is awesome to see from the main entrance but the hike up is not for the faint of heart. Much better views are possible from Crescent Moon/ Red Rock crossing park. Arrive early for the best views at sundown.

We had a wonderful time hiking Cathedral Rock! There are spots to stop if you are unable to make it to the top. Definitely worth a try!

We climbed to the "end of trail" and enjoyed amazing views! Some parts of the trail were a bit challenging but definitely worth the effort.

Perfect arrival time. It's hot an crowded in the afternoon, plus it's a little sketchy hiking down once the sun has set.

The color of the light on the rock should be much better with sunrise rather than late morning. I would Check the weather forecast for Sedona the day before and then you will know how to dress
