Experience the desert terrain of western Sedona with the thrill of a half-day ATV tour. We arrived at 6:30am so, plenty of parking. As we reached the first plateau of the rock, the sunrise crested the hill from across the valley, striking Cathedral Rock and casting a golden hue on it's massive, tall, spires. It was awe-inspiring. As we looked down towards the other end of the plateau, we could see a bride and groom, standing on the edge of the plateau, having just completed a wedding ceremony. Can you imagine? Sunrise wedding on Cathedral Rock. Looking towards the other end of the plateau, we spied two colorful hot air balloons rising up in the sky and heading towards us. Magical!

Please note: this is a pretty strenuous hike and is quite steep, with lots of clambering up fairly sheer surfaces with hands and feet. But the experience is exhilarating and the views are unmatched. This is a truly special hike.

The Cathedral Rock Vortex has a flat path to it, and it such a beautiful walk. We have enjoyed this every time we come.

Words cannot express the beauty of this wonderful masterpiece. The best way to describe it is that it looks like the Grand Canyon turned upside down. Sedona has some amazing rock formations. Cathedral Rock is probably one of the most well known for its awesome details. Take a trip to Sedona; you will not regret it.
