This was a nice trail, but there are so many others I would do before this one. After you park you hike along a path that is within earshot of the main road. Listening to cars and semi’s pass me really messed with my Zen...More

I dont think you need to go to the rock, it looks as good from a distance. Mind you if the weathe4 is good it’s a lovely walk and not too touristy.

You see it from everywhere, what is the big deal about listing it here as an attraction? No need to buy a ticket!

Before heading to Sedona for a sightseeing trip, I looked online for the best sites to see. Bell rock was near the top of the list, and it certainly did not disappoint. There are several pull off areas along route 89 heading into town, where...More

Ok, this is one of the vortexes in Sedona and a popular hike. Easy to walk around, relatively easy to climb up a ways, less easy to get down. You have been warned. No shade here, so go early morning or late in the evening...More

This is a great hike that anyone can enjoy! Most of it is some slight inclines and some paths. There are a few areas for more experienced hikers, but most people and some bikes were on the paths.

A fun place to hike and climb. You can climb right up on the bell and feel the energies as well as the views.

If you're not into doing trails and hiking, this rock formation can easily be seen from several viewpoint stops along route 179. It is best experienced when the sun is West, as it reflects on the rock toward the viewpoints.

An easy walk on the Bell Rock path. It is a hot spot for tourists and is well traveled. Wished I had brought bioculars.

We did Bell Rock and Courthouse Butte hike which took about 3.5 hours for us (we did stop often to enjoy the scenery and take pictures) Wear comfortable, sturdy shoes, be prepared for some rocky spots in the path. The path is fairly well marked,...More

It's a tough question to answer. Your physical ability, your time available, etc, etc. You could walk for 30 minutes, or you could spend several hours. If your plan is to walk more than an hour, take water, even in the... More

The hiking trails at Bell Rock are well marked and you do not need to be an avid hiker. We certainly were not and did just fine. You will see a non-experienced as well as experienced people hiking on the trails. Sneakers are... More

Bell Rock is a bit outside of Sedona proper, so you may want to stay in the town and drive the few minutes to Bell Rock. There is so much red rock scenery everywhere that you shouldn't limit yourself to a Bell Rock view, I... More
