The Chapel of the Holy Cross is absolutely gorgeous! This was our second trip there in the past 5 yrs. You don't need to schedule a lot of time for this visit. The church is very small on the inside. The lower level is just a small gift shop. Most of our time was spent outside photographing the spectacular views.... More

It's incredible to enter this chapel. When I was walking the spiral shape and you get the entrance you can see 7 vortex lined up. Inside the scenic view in front of the alta is wonderful. I love it!

Architecturally unique from the outside. Built into the rocks and visible from multiple hikes in the region. The inside is very simple with glass behind the altar with views of the red rocks. A large visitor center underneath. PARKING is very limited. Cars were parked all over the small lot and also the street with golf cart shuttles driving people... More

Got up early one morning and was at the gate about 10 minutes before they opened. I think that is the best strategy as there is not much parking near the chapel unless you don't mind hiking up the hill. It is a really beautiful chapel with a spectacular view.

Great place. Peaceful. A feast for your senses. Parking can be challenging. Visitors should remember this is a church. Be respectful and remove your hats and use quiet voices.

Beautiful setting and some of the best scenic overlooks. The chapel is small, quiet and has a beautiful view. I highly recommend if you are in the Sedona area to take a short ride to see this spot.

It's a beautiful place where you can see an amazing view of Sedona. It's difficult to find a spot to park the car, but it's worth it.

A must see when in Sedona. Very calming and spiritual. The hike up the hill was definitely worth it but they do offer rides of you would like.

It's a lovely chapel with nice views. I think it's one of the landmarks of Sedona. Should at least drive by if you're in Sedona.

We may have hit it at peak hour, but we drove up as there were no parking spots, only to turn back around once we hit the top. My dad stayed in the line and moved the car as we ran up to see it extremely quickly and got back in the car as soon as he made it to... More
