This draws hundreds of people and was very impressive built into the side of this rock. You can drive around it or you can walk up it.

Beautifully designed and built into side of red rock cliffs. No matter what your spiritual beliefs, you will be inspired. Parking can be tough, especially on weekends. Try to ick a weekday or go early or late. Views that go on forever.

The Chapel of the Holy Cross is an outstanding site to visit, and has stunning views, in addition to being a sacred and holy place. It is a must see on your trip to Sedona.

No one should go to Sedona without stopping and seeing the Chapel of the Holy Cross. It is built in the middle of the rocks and the view is spectacular. It is quite uplifting and heart warming. The little shop in the basement is worth going to as well. So, so, beautiful.

This is the place to view the famous Sedona red rocks up close while also getting a great view of the area.

Mostly for tourists. I fine piece of architecture and interesting history of how the Chapel came to fruition. My husband used walking sticks. The terrain is smooth but long. There are also good hiking trails nearby.

The trail up to the chapel is steep, grab a golf cart for the ride up. Hundreds of candles Inside...beautiful.

I am not a sour puss, but I have a little ambivalence about the concept and dominance of this chapel constructed in the heart of the red rocks, which are "chapels" unto themselves. And, full disclosure, I am a Catholic, and I was uplifted by the simplicity and beautiful spirituality of the design and I would have loved to attend... More
