This was the second time I hiked up Boynton Canyon, which is a fairly easy hike. The very best part is hearing and seeing a flute player who appears at the top each morning. He plays just because he wants to share his talent (not...More

I was eager to hike Boynton Canyon after seeing it included in several books as a Sedona top hike, but in the end felt underwhelmed. Don't get me wrong, the hike includes plenty of good scenery but the beginning is somewhat distracting due to the...More

My husband and I hiked this trail today. I will give you the good and the not so good. The good-nice easy hike and the views are spectacular. The terrain varies from, rocky, to sandy, to dirt. There are open trails and then a good...More

There is no "bad" hike in the Sedona area but the proximity of the resort to this trail is a disappointment.

We loved the views just before sunset unfortunately there were some young people screaming which disturbed the serenity of this sacred space. We had a lovely hike with not too many people other than the afore mentioned folks. We were lucky enough as we drove...More

My husband and I had an incredible couple hours hiking Boynton Canyon. We're not really hikers and we had asked some locals that told us Boynton Canyon had some easy trails where you'd still see a lot and experience the vortex. Definitely recommend good hiking...More

We spent the day traveling along this trail taking in the breath taking beauty. We kept looking for wildlife and spotted a road runner and hare. Take plenty of water because the air is so dry and the days can heat up.
