The hike from the parking area to the mesa is short but the hike up to the top can be challenging but well worth the effort. This location has a vortex that connects to the throat chakra so careful what you say here. You might just create it like it or not.

This is an easy hike and has a wonderful view and the energy is amazing. There is sometimes flute music which echoes beautifully and increases the ambience.

The canyon is actually a box canyon where they use to break horses for the wagon trains that were heading westward back in the old days. Enchantment Resort; a world class destination is enclosed within the gates of Boynton Canyo. The trail begins outside the gates and you walk along the exterior of the Resort. For guest of the Resort... More

This was the first hike we took on our two day visit to gorgeous Sedona. The variety of sites and terrain and vegetation and elevation is just spectacular. Make sure you stick with it to the end. You'll be glad you did. The Vista at the outset is worth the detour, too.

Curiosity took us to the trail leading to the vortex. The area is pretty and the trail easy to follow. Dogs are allowed if on leash which was important to us since we are travelling with our dog. The view from the Vista point is beautiful and the trail is not very difficult.

This is a slightly longer hike than some of the more popular choices, about 7 miles round trip from the parking lot where we started. It is nice that the trail is clear enough at points to see the spectacular Sedona walls of stone, but it also drops into the canyon and the shade, providing a cool respite from the... More

We have hiked the trail in Boynton Canyon three times, and each time met the heart man who presented us with a red rock heart. He then proceeded to the top of the trail to play his flute, much to the delight of all in the Canyon. Absolute joy!
