The mainstreet of Sedona is filled with stores with t-shirts(Cactus Carlos is probably the best) and stores with jewelry and other decorations with a southwestern theme. There are also a few restaurants to dine at and a couple of motels at the north end of...More

I visited Sedona on a very hot day so could not spend too much time outside. The main street was a place that I enjoyed in spite of the weather. I mainly liked the many statues and street art, very creative works.

Even though it was over 100 degree out, we enjoyed popping in and out of the different shops available. From an authentic Tibetan gift shop to a red dirt infused t-shirt shop to just about any kind of ice cream you can think of. This...More

Fun place to shop and walk around. We enjoyed shopping here. Most store to decent quality. We also ate lunch at Open Range- excellent and dinner at Sedona Pizza- very good.

Some nice things to see but essentially the same as any other touristy town but nice people there. Pleasant enough to walk around for an hour but that's about it.

We imagine the summer is brutally hot here so we visited in mid-May during delightful temps that barely touched 80. We enjoyed browsing through all the shops, buying many items, and the overall atmosphere is very appealing with the views all around (see photos below)....More

Any hotel in the Sedona area is close to hiking trails. You can easily do both with no problem. I like the Courtyard as it is in the middle of town and then you can hike out to wherever you want to go.

Go on a Pink Jeep tour, ask for Roger Johnson and go to Telaquepaque to see the high end Art stores. Walk the path to Bell Rock from the car park off 179 in the village of Oak Creek

Anywhere in Sedona has beautiful views and the town is small enough it does not really matter where you are located. Just pick something in your budget.
