Go Early and Enjoy! Don't miss it!

We went early and had the bridge to ourselves for a little while, before a few groups arrived. The view on the way up is stunning in some places, hadn't expected that.

Long hike if you go the long way but really not difficult and more scenic than the dirt road from dry creek but it is slightly difficult once you reach the actual devils bridge trail head, it was very scenic and awesome views from the top, everybody was cool about taking pictures for each other so definitely a good experience

Just go in the morning before all the pink trucks and all groups start to flooding this trail. I started from Prescott at 7am. I drove to the Mescal trailhead at Long Canyon Rd (just Google Mescal trailhead on the map) where I parked my car and hike the trail to Chuck Wagon Trail and than to Devil's Bridge Trail.... More

Really cool hike, trail is well established, but can be pretty challenging at times it becomes a climb. Hiking up and and back down the trail took about 3 1/2 hours. amazing photos from the top if you want to walk across the bridge.

We took the long way up to devils bridge. It was easy at first but then it did get difficult. There were rocks to climb but once you got out to the bridge it was so neat. Some of us opted to walk over the bridge and a few just watched people walk over and back. I think the watching... More

It was a cool hike, well worth the uphills to get to the bridge. The trail was well marked also. Once you get to the bridge you have to wait your turn to take pictures but the pictures there are worth the wait.

It can get very crowded very quickly (we were there on a Thursday of a regular week, and around noon traffic was jammed and parking lots around hiking sites were full) Still, I'd recommend driving up there and continue the highway (not the Interstate!) towards Flagstaff. It's a great drive with lots of cornering and beautiful sights. We made the... More

The hike itself is fairly short and just a few miles. We took the route starting for the Chuckwagon trailhead which is easy to get to for all types of cars (even without 4wd or AWD). Towards the end portion of the trail it definitely becomes very steep with areas of rockiness and some light scrambling up some rocks. The... More

For a true Sedona experience rent a jeep from Barlow Jeep rentals and be sure to take the trip in your Jeep out to the Devil's Bridge Trail. The staff at Barlow did a great job giving my wife and I detailed trail maps and advice on which ones to take on with the Jeep they rented us. We made... More
