Just beautiful. There is a turnout on 89N that allows you to walk down the stairs and get a better look and take pictures. It is is amazing.

the driver will have to keep their eyes on the road but you can see the creek, the hills, some campgrounds, (Slide Rock State Park) some houses and then a really remarkable switchback area. the top end is an exit away from Flagstaff / I-40

Some individuals highly recommend the drive up Oak Creek Canyon. It is worth a drive if you've not driven river valleys in the west, but I did not find the drive significantly more scenic than, for example, Pecos River Valley above Pecos, New Mexico or Kern River Canyon above Lake Isabella. Gulpha Gorge in Hot Springs National Park is much... More

Worth the trip for scenic views and hiking. The trip from Sedona to Flagstaff is worth the drive. Scenery is majestic.

We visited the canyon on a partial cloudy day in January. We loved our visit and took in some beautiful views of the terrain and hiked under Midgley Bridge to the floor of the canyon to see the Oak Creek. The hike was moderate and had some inclines. We had a wonderful visit and hope to return.

Oak Creek Canyon is a place of beauty and a hike that is refreshing. It's not overly strenuous though there are over a dozen creek crossings. We were glad to go back after having hiked here 6 years ago. I hope to be able to return sooner next time.

There're two ways to explore oak creek canyon. One is to drive cross the canyon; Another is to hike some trails down to the creek. The time for us was surprisingly perfect. There was flood happening at the time so we saw roaring river size of creek. We stopped at the midgley bridge vista to see the overview of bridge... More

An amazing drive along Oak Creek Canyon. The drive from Flagstaff to Sedona is a must-do. We were fortunate to have done the drive after a snowfall and it was simply stunning. The red rock, mountains and snow provided for absolutely amazing views.

Wonderful drive up Oak Creek, afternoon was cool and snow was coming. Very peaceful, you didn't mind the cold at all. Great views from atop.
