About
Take one of America’s most scenic drives—the 30-mile route from Flagstaff to Sedona—to Oak Creek Canyon. You can get a detailed map from the ranger station before you set off. Watch as towering red cliffs give way to lush forested canyons along the drive. There’s so much to do once you’re there: cool off at the swimming holes, fish for your own meal, hike the popular West Fork trail, ride a jeep or ATV, or hop on a hot air balloon ride. Pick up some Native American crafts at Oak Creek Vista.

    Great Drive with Scenic Stops
We took the drive from Sedona along Oak Creek Canyon and really enjoyed it. I highly suggest you use the Gypsy Guide app and download the Sedona tour before you take this drive. It made the drive so much better!

    Grand Views Near Grand Canyon
If you love the scenery and experience of the Grand Canyon, be sure to drive through Oak Creek Canyon (nearby in Sedona). This is incredible. The views of the tall pines and "s" curves on the road are incomparable. Stop at the Vista. Enjoy the views. And the Navajo ladies have quality jewelry!

Beautiful, Scenic Drive north of Sedona, AR
The drive through Oak Creek Canyon was just delightful! It was well worth the time to take this scenic route on our way from Sedona to the Grand Canyon. If you like photography, be sure to stop right before crossing the Midgely Bridge for awesome views of the historic bridge and the canyon below! Build in some time to take your shoes off and wade in the cool creek water! This drive was simply delightful!

    Such beauty and wonder
We drove through the canyon on highway 89A. The views are so beautiful. We did a stop at Slide Rock National Park for a few hours and it was so amazing. Also stopped at a Dairy Queen in the canyon to cool down (LONG waits just for ice cream). We traveled through the canyon 3 of the 4 days we were staying in Sedona. Just breathtaking

Keep your camera out! This is some of the most beautiful country we have ever seen. Even if you don’t get out, drive it! You’ll be glad you did.

The intention to sit and relax by the waters was accomploshed on our way back to the hidden parts of #OakCreek. We lounged beside some boulders, enjoyed the cool water of the flowing creek surrounded by singing birds. We were lucky to find a secluded and private spot to cap the night off during our stay here. If there's one reason you'd see us back in Sedona, it'll be this!

Staying in this area and would highly recommend. Just slightly off the beaten path. Close to many attractions without being in the heart of the action.

Gorgeous. View from the top is breathtaking. The ride through is also a little breathtaking. We stopped at Indian Gardens on the way through. Very cute. Worth the visit.
