It's a large park with lots to see. Several restaurants of all types and prices. Some evenings there are concerts outdoors that are just great. A must see when the weather co-operates. If not, you can stroll down the street to the Rusty Spur for a drink.

Normally I would not think to recommend a government complex a a must-see stop, but the landscape, fountains, gardens and sculptures here (with a wealth of historical information) make this a destination worth visiting while you are in Scottsdale. There are also some great restaurants located (walking distance) nearby

My aunt was visiting from PA so we toured the sculptures in the Civic Center Plaza after we visited the Scottsdale Museum of Contemporary Art next door. She was impressed by the number and variety of artworks in the garden. The flowers are always lovely as well. She enjoyed seeing a bride and groom getting their pictures taken in front... More

We saw the love sign that is great to take pictures in front of. We took pictures of others and they took pictures of us. IRS centrally located, by the Scottsdale Stadium where the Giants play. Also by the Scottsdale Center for the arets

It is quite large and very well maintained. Close to arts and galleries. It's a nice walk through and stroll.

Love this area to walk around, enjoy the weather and see what Scottsdale used to be like. Walk down to old town, sit by the fountain and maybe something will be happening in the area you can watch, like music or an event. Eat at some of the places that have been in Scottsdale forever and are throwbacks.

The Civic Centre is an oasis in town. We were really surprised once we entered and wandered through. Worth a visit

I was really taken aback by the presence of water fountains and pools of water. My expectation of Arizona was DESERT! This is a pleasant area to walk through.

Lovely area surrounded by many restaurants. You can just stroll and relax here. SMOCA is nearby which is a venue for many performers and concerts. A restaurant bar called AZ 88 is nearby which offers food and great drinks.
