If you are a scratch golfer you will want to play one of the famous courses in Scottsdale. But if you are a duffer like me who just wanted to get out for a round of golf, Starfire might be the place for you. We were visiting friends in Scottsdale for a couple nights. All four of us play golf... More

Golf course is kept in great shape. There are three different nine holes to play The Squire, The King, and The Hawk. Pricing fluctuates during the year and season. The best time to play and prices are low starts in June. The Squire has plenty of water holes to shoot across. The King is long and you need to drive... More

We played all three nines and enjoyed the course. Starfire is well maintained, has a friendly staff and is conveniently located. I will be back.

My wife and I play here once a week usually teeing off around 10:30 or so. We've played all three nines several times. While the Squire has 4 par threes we enjoy it as a break from the normal Hawk/King rotation. Sometimes we're paired up with another twosome but often we play by ourselves. Since it's mostly threesomes and foursomes... More

This course was formerly Scottsdale country club. It has 3 different 9 hole courses wandering thru the neighborhood. We were paired up for the 1st 9 and played as a 2-some the back 9. Nice course. Very well kept. They had 2 beverage carts working. We had a beer afterward on the patio. Very nice place.

Hi gang, After playing the upper-scale courses I wanted to relax a bit. Starfire has 3 nines, one a par 36 and the other two are par 34. They try to always get the par 36 as part of your outing. The practice area consisted of a 40 yd range where you hit "limited distance" balls. Really ??? The course... More

This is not a long course but it has some challenging holes for the average golfer. There are 27 holes that give you different options each time you play the course. The greens and fairways are usually in great shape, this summer is no exception. And with the summer pass you get a $13 rate any time of day. There... More

We played here as a couple and were paired with another couple. Rental clubs were good quality (Taylor Made for him and Callaway for me). Course winds through a lot of residences. You can rarely see other golfers. Condition of greens was mixed but course was fair and a good value. We would return.

There are 3 9s. King,Hawk and Squire. Hawk and Squire are shorter par 34s with 4 par 3s each. Still fun sporty nines. The King is their best. A solid Arnie Palmer design with some really nice holes, par 36 and longer than the others. Overall a well maintained facility with lush green grass everywhere. Friendly staff, good food, a... More
