This attraction has been on the bucket list for a while, and was worth every minute. Exquisite architecture, of course, and the tour guide was very knowledgeable and experienced, making our tour quite enjoyable!

I visited Taliesin in Spring Green, Wisconsin a number of years ago and was excited about the opportunity to visit his Southwest winter branch of his architecture school. The guide gave a very interesting explanation of the architecture of the house and school, the life of the family and his students. Wright's philosophy of education was to have his students... More

The tours takes roughly 90 minutes and shows his office, the school, his private quarters, and the performance hall. These things cannot be visited without joining a tour. The tour is a nice way of learning about the philosophy and the ideas of one of the great American architects. Afterwards, one understands how his style influenced the Phoenix and Scottsdale... We went on the 6pm evening tour. It was great. Learned FLWBuilt the place with his students! The photos show the gas fired dragon, the giant lodge and nicely designed pool!

Be sure to make a reservation for a tour! Arrived at 9am and already quite busy. Docent led tour was detailed and clearly the docent is a Wright aficionado and a Taliesin West aficiando all of which added to the overall experience. Lovely gift shop

Our tour guide, Skyler was fantastic! Was never a big fan of Wright and have no real interest in architecture, am now planning a trip to Falling water!! Loved the tour. Well worth the admission price. Fascinating architect and architecture.

Even if you're not into architecture, this tour is a must if you're in the area. The insights into Frank Lloyd Wright's ideas, life and accomplishments are fascinating, but you'll also learn a lot about the area, its history, and current problems. And then there's art, music and great views of the desert around the property. Just be sure to... More

We visited Taliesin West during a recent visit out to AZ. If you are on your way from the airport to anywhere in Arizona, please visit this amazing place as it's not far from the Phoenix airport. Frank Lloyd Wright's vision for the school of architecture is being brought forth at Taliesin West today. The Insights Tour is 1.5 hours... More
