I love going kayaking here at the lake. The company that offers the kayaks is fair and the equipment is well cared for.

We visited this Lake while in Prescott. It's only about 5 minutes out of town. So easy to get to and get back into town. Very pretty.

You need to pay to get in but can take beautiful pics by the side of the road. Nice place surrounded by mountains. Says it's good for fishing too.

This lake is crowded but worth the visit. The trails are management but rugged, climbing over boulders. Boat rentals available. Swimming not allowed however several couples were allowing their kiddies to swim. The water wasn't clean so heed the warning.

I saw one fisherman when we went, didn't look like he had a ton of luck. But there were plenty of spots to fish out there!

Did you rent the kayaks (and if so, where?) or did you have your own?

We brought our own kayak, but they did have kayaks/canoes for rent last time we were there. I'm not sure if they are always available though, so I'd be sure to call first and ask. The rentals were located close to the main... More
