We should have rented a canoe to explore this lake more but we went on to other lakes in the area later. It was very pretty.

We enjoyed the lake, rocks and area. We only spent about and hour, as we were on our way to other places. We only had to pay for parking, I think it was $3. The attendant was very courteous. The restrooms were clean and had...More

This is a very beautiful site. It's wonderful to hike around the lake with its varying topography. On one side of the lake it is very flat, but it becomes hilly and eventually rocky. There are a number of places to stop and rest along...More

Beautiful lake set among large boulders. A no wake lake means it's excellent for kayaking, paddle boarding, fishing or just plain relaxing. Many amenities include camping sites, kayak rentals, frisbee golf, hiking trails and large open areas for family fun and games. A scenic vista...More

We had a very enjoyable day kayaking around the lake. The rock formations are really cool! Fishing wasn't so great. (They were fly fishing). Restroom facilities were very clean. Ample parking by the boat ramp.

We hiked around the lake - it was rough going through the dells, but we made it. Bring plenty of water and be ready for some beautiful scenery. We passed on kayaking in the lake as the water was pretty green in late August.

You're not allowed to swim in Watson Lake as there is a lot of kelp and weed that might trap a swimmers' legs. Same goes for neighboring Willow lake.

I recall paying about $8 to enter the area, which included access to the kayak rentals. No parking fee beyond that. It is first come first served, but I think I recall hearing you could reserve something. I was there late... More

The "dells" are a part of Watson lake and the rock formations are magical. You will enjoy kayaking or just walking around the lake without a boat. Bikes are fun, too. Enjoy your visit in a kinds of ways. Cheers!
