I've been making pots at the Desert Dragon for many years, and I love it! Mishy and all of her teachers and helpers are friendly and knowledgeable.

Took my wife here for our anniversary as a suprise....total unaware of what we were going to do she came along and we both had a blast. It's fairly challenging but Misha was a great teacher. We did the Mini Taste of Pottery class. We played on the wheel a bit, then got to glaze a piece to be fired in the kiln and picked up at a later date. If you wanna do something out of the ordinary give it a shot.

I always like to find something different to do. My friend and I took the pottery wheel class and made some unique vases and bowels after a few days of drying we went back to paint our pottery. It was something fun and different to do. The pieces are glazed and fired to pick up a week after painted. We had a good time that we went back for the dirty hands Friday. If your looking for something different I would suggest giving this a try. It is just a small place located on the artist property.
