Good beers, good conversation, friendly atmosphere. Looks a little scary from the outside, based on the neighborhood. Chatted with the owner, who was very helpful and informative talking about their beers.

I was trying to kill a Friday afternoon and thought I'd swing by a have a pint, and be on my way. Got there at about 1:30 and was the only one there. One of the owners/operators, Geoff, was there, and was a real nice guy. I ended up getting a flight of their 5 main beers. Some time passed and a few more folks trickled in. Ended up having a real lively conversation with the guests and operators. I got to see their whole set up, which was fun because I'm a homebrewer. The beers were good, really good. I had a few pints of their barrel aged scotch ale, which was fantastic. One of the top 10 beers I've ever had in my life. Ended up spending all afternoon there, with good beer and good people. Tough to beat that.

We visited this brewery with a Living Social Deal and it was great. Their flights are nice because you get a taste of each of their signature beers. They were pretty good too. We enjoyed their seasonals a lot. They do not serve food, but they often have some bagged snacks on hand. It is a nice getaway for an hour or two.
