Living in Vegas I have come to dread dealing with Convention Centers as all are not created equal. The area my seminar was in was new, very clean and modern. It is within walking distance of several dining options for lunch.

New parts are amazing and older part revamped. Great venue for events. Check with City of PHX for event booking - and great to visit shows.

We were first timers for a corporate event. We were in the Executive Conference Room. Amazing sound system, comfy chairs, which is important when you're sitting for 2 days! Kind employees too :)

I was amazed at how close this venue was to the Sky Harbor airport. I had rented a car but easily could have take a cab or even a city bus. Who knew?

Went to a seminar and loved the cleanliness of the facility and especially the restrooms :) Prices were pretty high at the deli but other than that a great experience.

There are 3 other large hotels 1 block away. You should have no problem finding lodging downtown unless there is a huge event in the area. We have been at the Hyatt during baseball and basketball games and it was no... More

It shouldn't be a problem to enter the convention center, but if there is a conference going on, then certain areas/ballrooms may have access limited to conference attendees.
